AI visibility, explained.
Plain-English answers about how AI picks businesses to recommend, and what we do about it.
AI visibility
What is AI visibility?
AI visibility is how often, and how well, AI assistants mention your business when people ask questions you could answer: "Who's the best plumber near me?", "Which accountant should I use?" It covers ChatGPT, Google Gemini, Perplexity and Google's AI Overviews at the top of search results.
How does AI decide which businesses to recommend?
AI assistants look for businesses that trusted sources talk about: news coverage, authoritative websites, reviews and consistent business information. When they search the web live, they also lean on what search engines rank and index. The more credible mentions point to you, the more likely you are to come up.
Can you guarantee ChatGPT will recommend me?
No, and be wary of anyone who says they can. AI companies don't sell spots in their answers. What we control is the evidence AI uses: coverage on trusted sites, a website AI can read, consistent information everywhere, and links that tie it all together. Then we track the results honestly.
Isn't this just buying ChatGPT ads?
No. Ads are labeled, and they stop the moment you stop paying. We build earned mentions: published articles and pages that stay up and keep feeding the sources AI reads, month after month.
How long until I see results?
Placements usually go live in 1–7 days. AI engines pick up new sources over the following weeks, so most businesses see the clearest movement after two to three months of steady coverage. AI visibility compounds: each month builds on the last.
SEO
Is SEO dead now that people use AI?
No. AI search is built on top of it. When AI assistants look something up, they pull from search engine results, and Google's AI Overviews come straight from Google search. If search engines can't find and understand your site, AI usually can't either.
What's included in the AI-ready SEO foundation?
Technical fixes, schema markup that tells AI what your business is, page titles and descriptions, consistent business information across the web, Google Business Profile, indexing checks, keyword tracking and AI visibility tracking.
Do I need a new website?
Usually not. We work with the site you have. If something on it is holding you back, we'll tell you.
PR campaigns
Why do press releases help with AI?
AI assistants weigh what other trusted sources say about a business far more than what the business says about itself. Established news sites are among the most trusted sources there are. A story about you on dozens of them gives AI credible, independent proof to find and cite.
Will my story really be on USA Today?
On the Authority and Impact plans, yes. You get a real, live URL on usatoday.com itself (in its press release section), plus links on thestreet.com, streetinsider.com and the rest of the full network. Every URL is in your report, and you're free to share them anywhere. These are distributed press releases, not articles written by those outlets' reporters.
What is the Trusted News Network?
A network of 100 news and media sites that publish your story at the same time. It's included in the Authority and Impact plans, and it's one of the biggest jumps in reach between plans.
Some outlets are marked "Credibility". What does that mean?
A few outlets (Street Insider and NewsRamp) don't let Google list their press pages in search results. That means they don't help search rankings directly, and AI tools that rely on search results are less likely to find them. We include them for trust, for your "As seen in" badges and for readers, and we're upfront that the indexed outlets are the ones doing the heavy lifting for AI.
Do I approve each release?
Yes. You see every release before it's published.
Cloud stacks
What is a cloud stack?
An article about your business, published as pages on 14+ major cloud platforms at once, including services run by Amazon, Microsoft, Google and IBM. Each page links back to your website and your press coverage.
Why are cloud stacks important?
They put your content on some of the most trusted, most frequently crawled domains on the internet. That helps search engines and AI discover your site and your coverage faster, and see them all connected as one consistent story.
Does the platform's domain authority transfer to my site?
Not point for point. Domain authority is an estimate from SEO tools, and a page on a high-authority platform doesn't hand that score to you. Cloud stacks are a supporting signal: they help your business get found and connected. That's how we use them, alongside real press and a strong website.
